Toads

In addition to the terrestrial and tortoise sanctuary I will also be working with species of amphibians including frogs, toads and salamanders.

Smooth-sided Toads (Rhaebo guttatus)


Males are smaller than females and have paired vocal slits and a single, medium vocal sac. To check you need to look for the vocal slits in their mouth. You can compress the area behind there front and hind legs.
