I would like to thank and acknowledge the businesses that have helped make Sandbox Sanctuary a reality.
City of Norwalk
I would like to thank the city of Norwalk for approving a special Land Use Permit to allow me to develop a Sanctuary, for terrestrial turtles and tortoises of the world. I would also like to thank my neighbors who wrote supportive letters to the City, to get this special permit.
I first met Jennifer and Steffen Heins through Bob Myers, now the retired Director of the Dallas County Conservation Board. The Heins family took me out a number of times looking for reptiles and amphibians, on their extensive rural property, that borders Voas Nature Area, as well as other interesting habitat. Jen and I worked together on my website concepts and design. I appreciate her advice and all of the creative work it took her to get my website completed!
